SUNTERRA RE has commissioned its first photovoltaic power plant

SUNTERRA RE has commissioned its first photovoltaic park, located in the municipality of Dalgo Pole, in the Plovdiv region.

The plant has a capacity of 66 MW. It generates green energy capable of supplying 27 000 households and helps avoid nearly 100 000 tons of harmful emissions.

The Kaloyanovo photovoltaic plant is built with monocrystalline panels. At its core is PID-resistant technology (PID – Potential Induced Degradation), optimized through careful material control.

A total of 122 380 solar panels track the position of the sun, increasing both the efficiency and the generation capacity of the plant. Thanks to its dual-axis tracking system, the park produces between 35% and 50% more electricity compared to fixed-panel installations.

The panels are certified to withstand high wind pressure and snow loads.
