Bulgaria must fully utilize the potential of batteries

At the round table "Energy Transformation of Bulgaria – Accelerating Towards 2030," organized by the Association for Electricity Production, Storage, and Trade and the Center for the Study of Democracy, Sunterra RE CEO emphasized the key role of storage systems:
"Bulgaria has been designated a 'battery laboratory'. Therefore, the country must take advantage of what has been achieved so far and make full use of the functionality of batteries to support and stabilize the grid. This includes full participation in all segments of the balancing market and the ability to provide synthetic inertia."

Sunterra RE received APSTE’s annual award for developing the largest hybrid renewable energy generation and storage portfolio in Bulgaria.
