Pleven Photovoltaic Plant is located in the municipality of Pleven, in northwestern Bulgaria – a region with a developed industrial base, strong infrastructure and good transport connectivity.
The project consists of two installations with a total installed capacity of 9.6 MW. A total of 17,145 bifacial monocrystalline panels have been installed, increasing energy production efficiency by capturing sunlight from both sides.
The panels are designed to withstand high wind and snow loads, ensuring reliable operation under varying climatic conditions. Depending on site characteristics, they are mounted on east–west tracking systems or fixed structures.
Pleven Photovoltaic Plant generates clean electricity sufficient to meet the annual demand of approximately 3,930 households and avoids around 14,500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, contributing to decarbonization and environmental sustainability.
