Kaloyanovo Photovoltaic Plant, located in the central region of Bulgaria within the municipality of Kaloyanovo, stands as a prime example of sustainable energy generation and environmental consciousness. The strategic placement of this facility is complemented by the presence of a well-developed road network and thriving industrial activity in the area.
Implementing the latest advancements in technology, the Photovoltaic Park Kaloyanovo embodies innovation and progress. This project has been realized in three distinct phases, each marked by the utilization of cutting-edge techniques. The installation of 374,830 bifacial monocrystalline panels stands as a testament to our commitment to capturing maximum sunlight and generating energy efficiently. By harnessing this advanced technology, we are able to produce approximately 20% more energy than conventional panels.
To ensure uninterrupted energy production, we have incorporated anti Potential Induced Degradation (PID) technology into the design of the plant. Additionally, the implementation of a single-axis tracking system in Phases 1 and 2 allows for the generation of electricity that surpasses that of static constructions, yielding an impressive increase of 15 to 20%. The construction is designed and certified to withstand high wind pressures and snow loads, ensuring their durability and longevity.
In Phase 3, we have opted for ground-mounted bifacial monocrystalline panels, further enhancing the plant's capacity for efficient energy generation. By utilizing state-of-the-art inverters specifically designed for large-scale solar power generation, we have maximized the overall efficiency of the facility to an impressive 99%.
The positive impact of the Kaloyanovo Photovoltaic Plant extends beyond energy production. By avoiding carbon emissions of approximately 427,000 metric tons per year, this facility significantly contributes to mitigating climate change and fostering a cleaner environment.
Kaloyanovo Photovoltaic Plant not only provide clean energy to meet the demands of 85,200 households but also serves as a beacon of progress in the pursuit of decarbonized energy solutions.
